SignTranslate Shortlisted for E-Health Insider Award

2008-09-18

SignTranslate have been short listed to the final three in their category at BT E-Health Insider Awards, a competition dedicated to highlighting and rewarding the hard work and bright ideas of information and communications technology professionals in UK healthcare. The ICT product innovation category, of which SignTranslate is a contender, recognizes new products that provide benefits for patients. This award will go to the suppliers demonstrating the most innovative product launched between 1 July 2007 and 30 June 2008. The product may be an entirely new concept or a radically revised version of an existing product. The judges will be looking for entries that are proven to work in a healthcare setting (though they may be at pilot stage) which bring demonstrable benefits for users. This category is sponsored by Quicksilva, an independent UK-based supplier of systems integration and messaging services. Phil Murden, MD of SignTranslate will be demonstrating the new SignTranslate program for use in hospitals, to the E-Health Insider Award panel at the end of this month. The awards will be presented on 17 November 2008 at the Millennium Hotel London Mayfair, 44 Grosvenor Square, London W1K 2HP.
